Description

www.ecosmes.net (on line green tools and services for SMEs) is a web site that provides information, tools and services to enable SMEs to develop and market 'green products'.
Ecosmes.net is primarily developed to meet the requirements of SMEs, including all necessary information, competencies and references to allow the adoption of eco-innovation:
• Basic information: concepts and specialised tools for SMEs to enable the development of 'green products' and improve access to the 'green market'. Tools include analysis and design methods, e.g. LCA, ecodesign and environmental benchmarking and market tools such as ecolabels, ecotaxes, environmental management systems and accompanying measures.
• Training: on line training packages for introductory courses about tools and downloadable support material.
• Technical guidelines for specific product chains: ecosmes.net currently covers the following sectors: wood products, metal products, textiles, electrical and electronic equipment,office equipment,urban furniture, hotels.
