Description This database is a collection of best practices of centralized services and infrastructures for Ecologically Equipped Productive Areas (APEA). Their aim is to support managing bodies in the environmental, social and economic improvement of the areas.
In particular, the database includes a general description of the industrial area (geographic position, surface, number of employees, vocation of the area, contacts) and the best practices that characterize the area. Moreover, a bibliography of downloadable documents related to the best practices has been set up.
The database has been developed on web: its reference area is the Mediterranean Region. The completion of the database has been possible by the joint efforts of two projects: LISEA (financed by Emilia Romagna Region, Italy) and MEID (financed by EU Med Programme).
